Jiuzhaigou 九寨沟

We were staying at the hotel very near to Jiuzhaigou, it is the nearest hotel to Jiuzhaigou, I believed it was a local 3 stars hotel.

Early in the morning, we walked to the Jiuzhaigou main entrance from the hotel, we saw a lot of people from other tour also walking towards the main entrance as vehicle was prohibited to go near the entrance. Most of the tourist buses will park at the parking space beside our hotel and all the tourists were required to walk. It is only about 10 minutes walk to reach to the main entrance.

In Chinese Jiuzhaigou means “Nine Village Valley”, it is also listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jiuzhaigou has very stunning views of lakes, waterfalls, and mountains. Inside the park, no personal transportation is allowed because of the environmental protection reasons. There is shuttle buses inside the park where you can access from 1 scenic spot to another scenic spot. There will be a tour guide inside the bus to explain and introduce the scenic spots.

Some shuttle buses after the entrance, we ride on this shuttle to travel from 1 scenic spot to another scenic spot.

Inside the shuttle, there was a tour guide explained on the details or story of next scenic spots.

For some of the shuttle stops, we need to walk for a short distance to reach to scenic spot.

In the afternoon, we stopped at the food stall/canteen for some foods.
